Steven

Steven was the kindest,
sweetest, most gentle and easy going boy, always friendly and so
level-headed. Looking back on our almost 13 years together I can
honestly say I've never seen him angry or upset. Steven has been a
constant, steady presence of kindness and positive energy.

He loved to go
out and meet new friends, both of the two- and
four-legged variety. Steven also loved to just relax on
the table in front of the fire. He was a dog that never
demanded much for himself but was always there to
support others and help them shine.
It was Steven's
brilliant idea to use the table in front of the fire as
a dogbed, and while we so miss seeing him there it is so
lovely to see our other dogs continuing on with this
habit. |
Another thing Steven
really loved were marshmallows, and I always shared them with
him. I'm sure I'll never be able to see or eat marshmallows
without thinking of Steven.

Steven was
such a wonderful character, and we so wished we
could have had more time with him, but it wasn't
meant to be.
